We are a dedicated team of eCommerce media and marketing experts, and software engineers, based primarily in London with satellite offices in Europe. Collectively we have vast experience in delivering powerful marketing and shopper-led experiences for FMCG brands and supermarkets.
After more than a decade of working closely with retailers and brands to streamline eCommerce experiences within a larger organisation, in 2023 our team was spun-out as a brand new enterprise: focused on the revolutionary opportunity to combine AI with rich, responsive UX to remove the tedium, time spent and repetitiveness for grocery shoppers and at the same time build loyalty and increase profitability for retailers.

Guy has more than a decade’s experience working closely with the world’s biggest CPG manufacturers and retailers. He has deep knowledge of Grocery retailers and brands’ needs and priorities, and a clear understanding of the opportunities that are opening up for them, as the pace at which marketing technology is evolving accelerates. ​

Adetola Fadhunsi
Tola leads development and maintenance of the shoppable marketing applications at the heart of our platform and works closely with our clients’ technology teams to ensure they get maximum benefit from our solutions. She has over 20 years’ experience developing software and has played a crucial role in our platform’s development.

Amadu Bah
Amadu has 20 years’ experience developing and deploying web applications and the infrastructure that sits behind them. He has both a detailed understanding of full stack development and many years’ experience deploying the mission critical services that underpin top brands and retailers’ content marketing and shoppable marketing activities. ​

Richard Hateley
Richard is a highly experienced CFO who, after more than 20 years in finance, PE and C-level roles with listed companies, turned his focus to helping tech start-ups to grow. For the past decade he’s worked with the investors and leadership teams at three early-stage software companies, guiding them through to successful exits, including one IPO. ​

Kate takes the lead on Grocery Genius’s design activities, working with customers to showcase shoppable content best practices, with our marketing partners to help communicate our value proposition and, most importantly, with our product team on the research, analysis and development that optimizes shoppers’ user experience. ​

John has 15 years’ experience creating shoppable marketing technologies. He’s led the development of solutions that the world’s biggest retailers & advertisers have adopted globally, and has raised millions of dollars of venture investment. In 2023 he founded Grocery Genius and has tasked the team with ‘giving Grocery shoppers super-powers’. ​

Before joining Grocery Genius Duan spent more than 10 years’ assembling and managing teams that built and maintained key solutions for customers around the world. Duan’s focus is on managing the platform services that are key to our eCommerce integrations and which keep many millions of lines of live product data current.

Our Platform, App Development and DevOps leads are supported by specialist engineers - Ralph, Stephen, Krzys and Simon, who specialise in front-end development, platform architecture, full-stack development and ecommerce integration respectively.
All are highly experienced in developing MarTech solutions and ecommerce enablement technologies and each has worked closely and extensively with stakeholders at top CPG retailers and brands to optimize our solutions for their needs.

The quality of our customers' experience and their end users' experience is paramount, so our conscientious and experienced QA team take every care to make sure we deliver an excellent customer experience. Our team maintains a suite of carefully developed automated tests, undertakes strategic manual testing and are on hand for technical support if ever an issue should arise.

15 years ago, Hannah recognised the possibility that grocery retailers and brands could make content marketing shoppable and worked with engineers and designers to develop the world’s first shoppable recipe solution. Her focus now is on ensuring that our partners’ content records, whether schema based or AI interpreted, are optimally shoppable.

Our Content Support Team are expert data administrators with a focus on food and drink product data. They support our customers to ensure content data is optimised for utilisation within online grocery experiences and to that end they continually perform analysis and refinement on the output of our services and on the way it interprets our clients' content and our clients' data services to deliver excellent performance.
